About the site
LocalWarOnTerror.com is the brain(foster)child of Kevin Flatowicz-Farmer. There are no original ideas on the site. Everything on the site is rhetoric of the fire-breathing war hawks repurposed for a more sensible and peaceful solution to the Global War on Terror(ism) (GWOT). LWOT is a movement to defeat terror — to eliminate fear. It's a battle for the hearts and minds of freedom loving people everywhere who are being attacked by terror at every turn. There's bombs, tainted food, collapsing speculative markets, soaring speculative markets, plummetting home prices and rocketing dispairity between those that really have it and those that never will.
At every turn, we are encouraged to take refuge in fear and anxiety. The media, our elected officials, idiots on blogs, spouses, friends and family all feed us a regular diet of terror. Please worry, they tell us, things could be worse and likely will be soon.
