What is LWOT and Why is it Necessary?

The LWOT is a critical element to our nation's security. To underestimate the importance of the local aspect of our war on terror is to cede victory to our enemies. And who wants to do that?

Instead of succumbing to terror, we must fight against it with every resource we have. I recommend laughter, love, compassion and more laughter. The Local War on Terror is about defeating the psychological effects of terrorism. One bad day can't kill a nation, but it can kill a nation's spirit. As a people we must decide to rise against the set-backs of our past, and battle the constant encouragement to be afraid. It's a hard and difficult road that lays before us. Many will be unable to fight to the end. They will give up just as we reach the crest of the hill and slide into despair and the comfort of paranoid defeatism.

Fellow Americans and lovers of freedom throughout the world. Please join me in a Local War on Terror. Our battlefield is between our ears and our weapon is resolution. Resolve to fight the urge toward fear. Resolve to join the surge toward contentment. Resolve to use your last living breath to further the cause of refusing to let a small band of determined idiots ruin our good time.

Fellow travelers, we may not succeed. The forces of fear are strong, well funded, and piped into our lives from every possible direction. Fear is the first step toward failure, and more fear will do nothing to defeat fear. The time for terror has passed. The time for blame has passed. Now is a time for action, action to defend our selves against terror, against fear, against the forces that would have us live lives of vengance and blame. It requires courage to sustain freedom. I believe you to be couragous people, and I wish us all well.
